Bon Appétit is a Donegal food success story. Founded in Killygordon in 2021 by chef and restaurateur Eugene Gallen — who spent decades in the hospitality industry before bringing his cooking skills to a wider audience — the business has grown at a remarkable pace. What started as a small operation has expanded into a fully-fledged production facility in Letterkenny.

Winner of the Donegal Enterprise Best Start Up Award, Bon Appétit is now stocked in SuperValu, Spar, Centra, and a wide range of independent stores across the north-west, from Letterkenny and Ballybofey to Derry, Enniskillen, and Omagh. KP Gallen Foods also produces own-label ready meals for several brands across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
