The Byre is situated at the iconic Barnesmore Gap, just outside Donegal Town. You can find us right next door to the world-famous Biddy’s O’Barnes pub, making it the perfect stop-off for those travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way.

We specialise in a curated selection of Irish artisan crafts and local Donegal food products. Our range includes hand-thrown ceramics, bespoke textiles, soy candles, and a "pantry" section filled with local honey, preserves, and specialty treats. We also serve premium takeaway beverages, including ceremonial grade matcha and artisan coffee.
