Tír Bakehouse is a Donegal-based wholesale bakery supplying frozen, ready-to-bake goods to the foodservice sector in Ireland. Founded in 2025 by Aoibhín O’Dea in the Gaeltacht of Gaoth Dobhair, the business was created to solve a clear operational challenge faced by cafés — how to offer fresh, homely baked goods without the time, labour, skill, and waste associated with traditional in-house baking.
Tír Bakehouse produces a focused range of high-quality products, two of which were recognised as finalists at the Blas na hÉireann awards in 2025. Each product is handmade, and designed to be baked directly from frozen in 10–15 minutes, allowing operators to serve warm, consistent, “freshly baked” goods on demand.
The value proposition is simple but powerful: reduce waste, improve efficiency, and maintain strong margins while delivering a premium customer experience. This model enables cafés to better control volume, particularly during quieter periods, while still presenting a full, high-quality offering on their counters.
